Picked up a Paxton unit for my Cobra today! I have the brackets and the head unit, that's about it. Was wondering if anyone on here has a copy of the installation instructions and possibly a few pics of it installed that could be e-mailed to me??

Also, once I've got all the parts...anyone with experience wanna help with the install? It's a 6lb unit.. [burnout] I can't wait!!!

4.6-- I've got a triple white 92 lx ragtop w/ 97 GT wheels on it and a 95 Lighting, red in color. It's the only red lightning in the Solano area that I know of. I had a all black 93 GT w/ 97 Cobras on it, but I sold that last week.

Ike- ya, that's my lightning you saw...as for the Cobra, it's teal...I got it 2 weeks ago...only driven it twice...I'm on base if you ever wanna stop by to BS, drop me a PM...I'll give you directions.

No one on the board is runnin' a Paxton on a Fox?? [Confused]

Nice car 67!
Mine's hopefully gonna be repainted soon (theft recovery...it got all Cobra parts on it, but looks like something from a Partridge family episode!!), but I wanna get all this drivetrain work outta the way first. Interior is done (Recaros, Autometer set-up, padded 4 pt bar, all original panels) as is the entire suspension.

Hey Mike, you got mail-

Try asking "66 injected cobra". His names Mike, he was going to install my Novi, but I had a local guy do it instead.
He runs a Vortech, and if very familiar with the blowers.
I just had my Novi 2K put in, the thing is a monster! very fast, & it still has some tuning in it!
Your 1000 should not be too hard.

Ike- I'm not far from you at all. I live over behind the church on Cannon. I work over at the 60 AMXS, C-5 Flying Crew Chief Program Manager. Been on 5's for over 9 years now. Here the whole time [Big Grin]
I'd give you a hand this weekend, but I gotta go to Scott AFB on Sunday..the spring swap is cake, I lowered the Cobra with BBK's, took me about 2 hours...

I'm ordering all my piping today...hopefully I can hook everything up next weekend...if anyone knows where I could get some instructions for this thing, lemme know..

I havent put mine on yet, but i just got a instruction manual. If you call 18889PAXTON ask for Kelley, he will send you the manual free of charge. Let me know how the install goes. i should be putting mine on within a couple weeks.

One more local FOX body- in Suisun. Ike kows how to get there! I might be able to lend a hand. Is it a balldrive unit (SN93)? If it is, NEVER spin it faster than it's ratiing. And buy some PAxta-Trac fluid to add to the oil.

Have had my fair share of Fox bodies also. I used to live in Suisun myself, off of Sunset...had a rasberry red 91 LX ragtop (sn-92 on it) when I lived there. Damn me, I never really looked at how it all went together! Oh well.. [Roll Eyes]

Just got off the phone w/ Kelly-- directed me to Paradise wheels (760)740-0954...anyone dealt with these folks? I'm gonna give these folks a shout, see if they've got the info..
Oh ya, it is a sn-93 unit.
