STAY AWAY FROM MAC. There coting on the headers will start peeling and cracking off. BBK's and JBA's Are some good headers. If you got some extra cash i would get them jet coted. Good luck

personaly I would say wait and get long tubes you will get way more power
but I would go with ford motorsports, BBX, or JBA's

Thanks guys I went to Speed Merchants to price the JBA's and BBK's they talking like 450 to 580 for them but I've seen them on the net for cheaper so Im not buying from them..

DO NOT GO TO SPEED MERCHANT. You are better off getting them off the net. Ford Motorsport's are also some good headers.

Jet coeting i think is like an extra 50-100bucks. not sure, But it is worth it. You will creat less heat under the hood. But if your low on cash then regular stainless steel would be ok. Up to you. I found these on Jegs.com Headers for 4.6

I got MAC 1 5/8" longtubes + off-road H pipe from a corral classified ad for $175. st5150 mostly did the install it's hard the first time, but I've had those bitches on and off maybe 10 times since then. No doubt about it, longtubes are a pain. Can't smog with them on either. But hey, IMHO, the performance is worth.

speed merchants are to way to high priced
shit at thouse prices you can get long tubes
my BBK long tubes jet coated where 500 bucks
of course i got them of a group purchase but I think the go for 550 for long tubes jetcoated

I'm assuming that this is a 4.6 GT for some reason, slap me if I'm wrong. Brother's has the same prices as Jeg's but they are Mustang specialists, and they're the back door to BBK, so they always have it in stock. It's also a shorter trip from LA than Ohio.

shit,
i found my set of mac unequals shortys 1 5/8"
for $25 and a matching off road h-pipe 2.5" for $36 and a pair of two chamber flow basterds for $50 with the cat backs and all...
mac headers are allright only complant is the header bolts come loose every now and then..
i got these parts from ebay and part out cars.
although used and had surface rust they work great...and is loud as hell..so loud i put the stock muff back on because two cops gave me looks as if they wanted to flip a bitch and pull me over
