Im getting my motor rebuilt right now. I cant decide wether to do blower cams or an intake manifold. Ill be running about 12lbs. also i got BBK longtubes and 2.5 exhaust. Money is becoming an issue so i cant do cams and intake. or would an aftercooler be better. any ideas greatly aprecciated.

I have a fast track air-air intercooler for sale.. $950 takes it.. brand new in box.. comes with all piping and intercooler, over $1,400 new.
Also, i'd just shorten the runners on your intake (save yourself $$$) and do cams later..

You probably have more to gain by porting the heads with your blown 4.6L.
At 12 psi, you really won't gain much from an aftercooler.
Who is building your motor?

HCI is building it. He said that porting the heads wont do much unless i change the cams. I was thinking about his intake but SHM has one for cheaper, not sure about quality though. Im going to put 42lbs injectors. should i put the SHM rail in there?
