You'll have to buy the tester....Don't remember how much they are, but I did see one the other day online for ~$50. You'll also need an air-compressor. Instructions come with the tool.

Good luck.
I'm going through the same thing....Pretty sure I blew a HG w/only 120 miles on the new motor... She's comin' out now!

I think I have a bent valve guide
its like #2 #3 and #4 have a little oil on then i dont want to pull it out any more I swear if I have to pull the damm thing out Im just goin to buy a used motor and run it stock

couse putting money into it right know is killing the chance of buying a house

Who built your motor? It sounds like its having a lot of problems.

I hear ya!
I've been chasing down oil & water leaks for 2 weeks now! Pulled the Tremec 4 times, changed the rear main twice, pulled the engine out (just a little for clearance) too many times to count, changed the lower intake/gaskets 4 times & now I'm pullin' it for HG's!!! Oh, & I've only got 3 more weeks to work out all the bugs before Byron chips it....
Ah well, it'll be WELL worth it when we're done. [Wink]
