Ive got all the bolts loose from the drivers side flange connecting to the manifold, but the passenger side im having one hell of a time even getting to the bolt, and tried using a air drill to remove it when i had the chance (think i stripped it in the process) anyone have any secrets of getting to those? Ive used swivels, extensions..and its damn near impossible
02 Mustang GT is the model, btw.

on the passenger side we used a 10" extension plus a swivel.

WD-40, WD-40, WD-40.
One idea, is make sure you have the socket on the extension/swivel combo by hand FIRST.
I thought I was the most unluckiest fool in the world when I discovered my stock headers on my 93 had TWO DIFFERENT bolt sizes on each stud. Unbelievable. Just make sure it's on at first and do it by hand.

or if you don't plan on reusing your stock pipes you can just mash them to make it as easy as possible.

torque.. torque is a GOOD tool . i added a metal hollow bar to the socket wrench to add more leverage and it came right off..schweet.. lots of cussing helped too
