I have a set of MM CC plates that I just picked up and need to install on the car. Has anybody ever done this before, and do you want to help? I live in Pleasanton.

Are the stock plates riveted down or just bolted? I know the 96 and up GT's are and I think they are more compicated, but I don't know about the 94 and up V6's? Any pics of your stock plates help?

I installed the Maximum Motorsports in my 1995 gt and it was pretty easy. The instructions that come with the plates are very good. The stock plates are riveted in place so you need to drill them out. Before you do that, mark (on you strut tower brace) the position of your shocks so you can position them approximately after you install your plates (until you can get your front end aligned).

Jesse - I have the same problem. I've had my CC plates in my garage for a few months, and my new tires are already 1/2 worn. I just bought a floor jack and jackstands, and I was wondering if anyone has done this job. We did my friend's 02 V6, but I don't know if i can to the job alone without an air compressor/torque wrench...I just don't wanna pay $200 for installation when they were $100.

the c/c plates are very simple to install. I just installed the 3bolt style to my 96 and it took about 5 mins to install each side...that's once you removed the struts...if you have stock struts, i highly suggest an impact wrench, they are a pain to remove if you dont have this tool. if you have rivets on the stock plates, just drill the head off and shave the rest off with sandpaper.

I'll give you a call tomorrow after I get out of school. I have a job now and school, but I have a couple of late start classes, so I have a little free time still.
Talk to you tomorrow.

I searched for "caster camber installation" on google, and got this link for MM plates:
