OK-
Comb in sig. When cruising the pits or street at 2k to 3K (1st or second)it pops a bit out the exhaust. Cruising the highway in 4th or 5th at those rpms and no problems. Just replaced the plug wires.
I readjusted the rockers in case I had one too tight. No change. Doesn't seem to affect the power output at WOT-
just ran 12.666 at 107.73 last Sat night and had 8 great runs. Maybe the injectors need to be bigger (running 19lber's)? 44 psi FP and 16* initial timing.
TIA

Does it pop durring a steady cruise or durring deceleration? Poping through the exhaust is usually due to running too rich (or not enough advance)... many 5.O's do this before they've fully warmed up because the O2 sensors haven't gotten up to operating temp/switching speed yet. I doubt these are your problems though. 24 or 30 lbs injectors and a 24 or 30 lbs sampling tube should be on order for you though.... especially when you get a cam.

Both. Once I do a cam it will have 24's.

I'm having similar issue with my stang right now, its a real dog from idle up to about 2500. Did a diagnostic on my car and turns out out to be my MAF. I have a pro-m though.

Check that all of your spark plug wires are going to the right spark plugs.

sic91sleeper - If Jim is running 12.6 @ 107 with 2 cylinders missfiring I'm scared!

I thought popping thru exhaust meant too lean and popping thru intake meant too rich? But check timing.
