I AM BUILDING A 4.6 2V AND I BUILT THE BOTTOM END.
COBRA STEEL CRANK, BILLET FLY WHEEL,MANLEY H BEAM
RODS,JE FORGED PISTONS,PORTED AND POLISHED HEADS,
VALVES,SPRINGS,ARP BOLTS AND STUDS ALL THROUGH IT.
SO IT SHOULD BE BULLIT PROOF BUT I DONT KNOW WHAT SIZE CAMS IM GOING TO RUN. IM TRYING TO SEE WHAT OTHER PEOPLE R RUNNING BEFORE I BUY CAMS.I ALSO PLAN ON RUNNIN LIKE A 100 SHOT ON TOP OF THIS.
IF ANYONE HAS SOME INPUT ON WHAT THEY HAVE DONE OR KNOWS ABOUT THESE MOTORS IT WOULD BE APPRIECIATED.

I dont know what cams you should get, but I know if I had that setup, I'd be running more than a 100 shot.

you can go bower just cant push to much boost
I would say stay with NOS if your comp is that high
i lowerd mine to 8.5:1 but I new I wanted to run up to 25psi at some point for know im goin to stay at about 16-18 not sure how much my novi will push with the current set up but it should be more on the 18psi side
hopeing 18 will be enough to push what wicked 281 is pushing to the ground
but will see in about a month when I dynoe it

i started to build my motor last year and parts were more expensive then.now parts are a little bit cheaper. i am probbally into the motor about $7000 so far i still have to pay labor and buy cams, oil pan, head studs, mass air meter and injectors.
these mptors r expensive to build but hopefully the out come will be good.
