are u able to make an 87-93 LX into a GT, like add the ground effects to them? If i were to buy an LX, could i make it look like a GT? Just wondering, or even a 93Cobra?

You just need to throw the ground effects on. The hatch will require filling of holes if you decide to change wings though.

So could i even buy a 4 banger LX and convert that into a GT....along with swaping tranny, engine, rearend...suspension? And can anyone on hear add on the body panels for me?

You can make it into an LX,GT,or Cobra if you like and switch out the 4 banger and drop a V8 in there and tranny. [patriot]

screw the GT idea, since it is an lx you can add on the Saleen kit quite easily and I think that looks the best = ).

What does the Saleen look like? You got any pics or where i can find pics? I really liked the Cervinis Stalker front bumper along with the saleen rear wing. So any pics anywhere?

hey josh the only bad thing about swaping out a 4 banger is if that car ever gets stolen or totaled insurance will rape u up the ASS. my buddy ryan bough my buddys car and it got stolen a week after he bough it and insurence fuck him over

Fuck, for the amount of money your planning on putting into this project you can just buy a gt! I mean swapping a whole 5.0 pwer and drivetrain, then suspensio, to hold the bigger motor,then the body kit, painting it and so on, damn. It might be worth it if you have a fucked over 5.0 mustang to get the motor and tranny and shit out of.. Just my opinion, oh weel god luck on it anyway~Ken

I was more looking towards years down the road. When i have money and can build my dream car. 351 stroked to a 427, atleast, T56 tranny.....9 inch rearend, full maximum motorsports suspension. So i mean, not that much stock stuff would be on teh car, but the interior. Buying a GT would be easier...but if i am gonna get after market hood, front fascia, rear wing. Maybe even rear bumper. I dont see the need to buy a GT. When i am gonna be swaping everything anyways.

I dont know about all this 4cyl conversion ur talking about, sounds like a lot of work, i think u'd just be better of flipin a stock lx and just keeping it fox, why try and front like ur car's something it's not, prove yourself on the line not in the parkinglot, just my 2 cents. Stock lx's look nice just how they are, notch, or hatch, dumped on some 17"s... oooo la la

The pics look great. I really like the your saleen. But i wouldnt be faking my shit with a 4 banger......i would take the 4er out...and swap in a 351 that is stroked to a 427! And a T56...with a 9 inch rearend. I wouldnt be expecting anything less then 700hp. So i wouldnt be faking it....i figured since i am gonna be swaping everything out anyways. Why not get a 4 since it is cheaper

Yea..i basically already got my entire engine picked out...except for the cam and valve train. But the other stuff i got all planned out. SHould be actually like well over 1000 hp. LOL
