My seatbelt light is always on and stays on when my seatbelt is on and its very annoying because the light is red. I dont just want to put tape on it i want to fix it correctly so can someone lead me in the right direction???

The switch is probably defective. You probably need to replace the release button side of the seat belt. There should be a small switch and wire in there. I think you have to change the whole thing to get the switch.
