i put new plugs in my car stock ones as a matter of fact,when i looked under the hood for the gapping it said ,i dont really remember what it was but it gave you a range that you should be in ,so we went with the highest point of the range ,,the car ran fine ,but now it seems sluggish ,now are stock plugs just crap ,or should i get new ones ,,also my car is having a bad case of carbon buildup in the throttlebody and intake ,now i dont know if that will helpbut ,i am also trying to figure out a small idling problem ,,if you read my idle post you will know what i mean,i am going to try the egr ,i am not sure how to check it but at this point i will try anything and greatly appreciate any advice as well

how large did you gap your plugs?
did you buy platinum?
I've always leaned on the conservative side for the plug gap even though I have a full aftermarket ignition. too large a gap can easily cause misfires, esp. as rpms rise.

well the car has not misfired ,,as for the gapping i think it called for a gap between50 and 56 ,,i think i could be wrong but it was a range of that sort
