I have a 98 Cobra with a KB. Hopefully next week I'll have 42#injectors, BBK cold air tube, Lightening 90MAF, and I already have a few other things.
Last month I paid someone else(for the first time) to work on my car. I drove to Rohnart Park for a "tune" and all he did was install my BAP and BAS, put it on the dyno and say "Nope, to much detination for the 8# pulley". So he put the 6# back on and I went home.
So this time I would like some reccomendations before I go anywhere else.
The only place I know of is Mustang Ranch. I've been there twice for dyno runs but not since the blower. I asked and I don't think they had any experience tuning the Whipples.
Is there anyone around here or should I go to L.A. for a custom chip?

Thanks

A custom chip from Byron ( www.racesystems.com ) is the only way to go with a KenneBell car. You need to remove a lot of mid range timing with those blowers. You can go to LA, but they use the same software that Byron uses. Put the 8 lbs pulley on and take it to Byron. Make sure you tell him you're from the Central Valley where it gets extremely hot durring the summers.
