I need some help with my car. Curently im running the Holley Systemax intake with my combo. Well, i noticed every time i take of my cold air kit there is a puddle of oil in the T/B. The oil will Travel down to the oil filter and drip. Now i tried running the car with out the PCV valve connected and there would be no oil in the intake but i do get a lil blowbi coming out of the valve cover. Not a lot but noticable. ive done a commpression test and all checks out fine. I noticed on my old stock lower intake that there was a lil round circle thing inside. kinda looked like a filter or spung. then the PCV valve would go on top. Well the Holley dosent have That lil circle thing. Could that be the problem?
Can anyone help me find out what could be wrong??
Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

dude, "that little round circle thing" is what forms a seal around the PCV valve. Yank it from your stock intake and plug it in your new one.
otherwise, your PCV is not a PCV, basically I imagine you are blowing oil out the back of your intake where your PCV is supposed to be working. Shouldn't be puddling in/around the TB, that is a sign of a completely plugged PCV system. I imagine you have a totally vented to atmosphere PCV system out back there right now (given the PCV valve is swingin' in the breeze without it's 'sleeve' in the lower intake)

Its not the rubber plastic that holds the pcv valve. Inside the hole of the lower intake. it looks like a screen. I have the sleeve in there already i got that from the old intake.
Thanx for the reply.

I had the same problem with my holley intake, but I have carb valve covers, you know the slick ford motorsports with black and red lettering, anyway I removed the pcv from the intake and plugged it into the valve cover, this effectively stoped oil from being sucked into the pcv due to the the plate that is attached to the inside of the cover, and in the other cover is the breather, good luck.

i got the crab valve covers also. I have the polished ones. I tried running the car without the PCV valve hose connected to the vacume tree, it was running good for a while but then after the third day the car was surging and would shut off. It wouldnt start after, then i connected PCV hose back to the intake tree and she would start right up nad not surge or turn off anymore. I have no idea what the hell happend that would cause that to happen. Ill try your idea and see if it works. Thanx for the reply guys.
Also, do you have the Crank case breather in your lower intake? i got one but now i cant put in the Rubber circle. Any help or tips on how i can get it to fit would be greatfull. Thanx again.
