should i go with a cam...or change the ratio of the valve train??? stock motor..in an 88 5.0 LX [Confused]

is the car COMPLETLY stock, or just the motor. i would do other stuff first if its completly stock

Stock motor....nuthn done yet...lots of things on the list...K&N..Flowmasters...Underdrive pulleys.. Ram air..yaknow
