I'd like to lower my 97 GT, I need a rigid suspention for the kind of eratic driving I do. I would like to spend under $200(springs only) and then add some shocks. [patriot] [Confused]

I bought my Eibach spring for $220.00 (tax included) @ Speed Merchant in San Jose. If you look around you might find some place that’s cheaper. I was just on Ebay and saw some HAWK springs for like $127.00 they will (according to them) lowered your car inch and a half. Don’t know of the quality of them but the price looks good. I’m actually thinking of changing my springs for a set that will lower my car inch and a half rather than the set that I have right now that lowered my car 2 and a quarter. But yeah ..look around. My boy has KYB shocks/struts and they ride pretty smooth and the prices aren't that bad. I think something like $230 for shock and struts. Tokico is cool but pretty expensive. It all depends on how much you willing to spend and what your looking for . Oh yeah.....Speed merchant is good but it's "A good place to get cheap stuff pretty expensive" I forgot who said that or somothing similar to that on the board. Don't get me wrong they are cool peoples but there prices are pretty high up for stuff that you can get some were else way cheaper. I was quoted over 200 for an BBk H-pipe. When BBK sells it for 160 i believe. You might want to hit up Bill Auto in San Jose as well they have some cool prices on parts.

Id go with eibach, the sportline series rides good, but is still a little stiffer than stock, my car dropped an inch and a half.
