I have BBK full length headers on my car and I have come across the unpleasant surprise that no one will smog my car even with cats. I am putting my BBK shorties back on and probably selling my full lengths (1 5/8)and off road H-pipe (2.5"). Is removing them a pain just like installing them or will it be a piece of cake? They are 2 months old. Should I replace the gaskets also? Any one interested in 2 month old full length headers and H-pipe make me an offer. Delivery could be arranged because I make trips to the Bay Area often.

Well I was sent to a test only station this year and I can say that the three shops that I tried were not too flexible even though I had the cats on. They just saw the big tubes and pretty much got scared away. My idle is similar to an E-cam: lumpy but not too rough, pretty steady at around 700 RPM. All my smog equipment was hooked up including the air tube going to the cats. That EO number from my shorties just might be worth a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
