for about 10 seconds before falling to a normal level...

if i let off the gas, it keeps accelerating to 2k, then eventually drops, allowing me to slow down a little as long as i don't touch the gas pedal...

i can't drive it like this.

anyone know someone that can get this thing to run right?

any ideas?
thanks!

the mysterious hanging idle. Would you like a cookie? [Big Grin]

i think i need a brownie!
a BIG brownie!
i got charged for 8 hours (said he spent 13, but gave me 5 hours gratis) of labor for *fixing* the idle, and he says that's the best he can do...

i know there are guys using these cams with no idle problems...

i'll call Sean in the AM.

I talked to scott at shm today.
it would appear that the shop that did the work did some really odd things...
they drilled holes through the throttle butterflies...a 3/16" hole in each blade [Eek!]
and the reported TPS reading they said was .920 V, not .950 V

i'll fix that, then if it doesn't run right, i can talk to scott again and we should be able to resolve the issue...

little by little!
