i just got the king cobra clutch in my stang today and the rpms shoot up real high when i push the clutch pedal in. is this because its new or is something else wrong. it idles at 1.2 and when i push the pedal in it shoots up to 2.5
any help offered is well appreciated [Big Grin]

Doesn't make sense. Does this happen as soon as you touch the pedal?

yep, as soon as i push the pedal in. it doesnt make sense to me either [Confused] mabey the im going to play with the throttle body and see what happens.

does your clutch cable pull on the gas cable??

i dont think so, i had to send it to a shop to put the clutch in so im taking it there tommorrow morning [Big Grin]

Sounds as if they knocked a vac hose off when they were removing/installing the bellhousing bolts..
