Hi,

I have recently purchased a 95 Cobra, that has an over-reading Speedo to the tune of approx 13%.

I think this is now down to the fact that the vehicle has 3.73 gears, and it should have been built with 3.27 gears.

According to the Speedometer Gear selector chart, I suspect I cannot go any higher on the Drive and Driven gears (8T and 21T).

Question :

Has anyone had any experience with any conversion boxes ?
Does anyone know a good Transmission shop in the Bay Area ?

Thanks

Mark

HOw much does having your speedo calibrated usually cost? Does anyone think rear end specialties in Santa Clara does that also when they do rear ends?

Hey thanks.

I'll stop by later this week. I am also considering te Dallas Mustang Speedcal, as it is an electronic variable calibration unit. That way
I can re-tune the odometer reading by running it to under-read for a while.
