Anybody have any ideas why my T rex fuel pump gets extremely loud after about 30 minutes of run time? This is my 3rd car with T rex setup none of the others ever sounded like this. I know these pumps can be noisy but this sounds like it`s going to blow or something. Anybody with this pump ever experience this problem?

Sounds like the ohll T-rex is taking a shit on ya. Those damn pumps arent known to be taht good anyway. Besides they are just a temporary fix for a poor fuel system. What type of set up do you have to where you need two pumps? I would shit can the T-rex and get a bigger in-tank pump or use an Aeromotive A1000 rail type pump.
If you still use the two pump set up I have two in-line pumps for sale. One is a holley 220lph and the other could support 300hp by it's self.
Hope that helps Bro.

Thanks for the info. I am running a 98 cobra with a Vortech supercharger(10psi) with aftercooler Bassani X pipe MSD dis 4 and flowmasters. There is a in tank pump that will support this setup alone? Let me know. Thanks!

How much do you want for the fuel pumps? I was wondering, is going with an in-tank fuel pump safer or better than adding an in-line pump?

Hey Marion Cobretti, are you using an FMU? If you are then a 255lph in-tank pump is more then enough. What injectors are you using? Vortech just gives you the T-rex for an easy and temp.. fix for a poor fuel system. They know the average person is not going to want to spend big money on a good fuel system after paying 4000 on a super charger! If your injectors are adaquite and you have a boost sensitive fuel reg then you will be fine.

V8302stang, the only thing you will gain from an in-tank pump is they stay cool all the time cause they are under fuel all the time. Most people go W/the in-line pump cause it is much less difficult to find a pig pump to flow more LPH. W/in-tank pumps you are kinda limited to size cause the damn thing needs to fit in the tank hole. For the holley 220lph pump I want 100$ "I paid 160$ for it. The other pump I will take 70$ for it. Hope this helps you guys out alil....Mike
