I'm pretty sure it's the OBD-II guys that have to worry about that.I forget when the OBD-II changeover was made... but I think you have nothing to worry about.

You still have the EEC-IV, so you'll be fine unless you physicly damage your O2's.

I put my off road h pipe on my 95 - no problems. Just make sure you plug in them O2 sensors.

Go to the body section of an auto parts store. You'll see a little $4 tool that holds the razor blade at an easy angle to get off pin striping. That's what I used and it was a piece of cake. Then I used Goo-Be-Gone to clean up the leftover sticky stuff.

You should not any problems. My brother put it on his 95GT and teamed it with a pair of 2 chambers flows, That thing is loud! I like the sound. Youll be happy with it.
What brand are you gonna go with?
Stay away from MAC! BBK is good.
