I have a 95 with a modified 5.0L. Heads, cam, intake, etc. I put a vortech s-trim on it and after 5 minutes of mild driving the car started running like shit. Anyway, lost compression in 2 and 3 cylinders. Got head off and I blew the head gasket between the two cylinders and torched about a 1/8 in. deep by 1/2 in. long scar in the head between the two cylinders. What may have caused this and what can I do to avoid doing it again. Notes- compression was stock, stock block, TFS heads, 5k miles since modifications, felpro head gaskets, ARP bolts- Thanks

That sucks I blew my head gasket on my old motor in about 3 days with a custom chip! I would go with studs and have the head milled a little and you should be fine. Remember to be feeding that bad boy with fuel though or it will happen again
