How does one fix this?Just put in replacement-temporary and it is leaking fluid.
Out of the front seal, just behind the driveshaft.
Let me know.

Pinion seal? Very easy fix....drop the driveshaft...Back out pinion nut, use pry bar or air hammer to take off the yolk, pry out the old seal, put new seal in...replace yolk, replace pinion nut and torque down....place drive shaft in place...and enjoy. Need help...let me know..I'm happy to help.Jack

Be careful when torquing the pinion nut, since that nut also sets the preload on the pinion bearings. If you torque the nut on further than what it was, your basically crushing the crush sleeve even more, which is going to make your bearings too tight. I would try and mark the nut and the pinion, that way you can just tighten the pinion till its about lined up with your marks.
