I thought about throwing some pullies on for some extra horsies until I get the supercharger. Will I need to tune it again, or is it pretty much a straight-up bolt-on?

its pretty much bolt on. i have a 89 so it might be alittle different. i had to take my alt to a parts shop and have them put my pulley on for me (i don't have an impact wrench). other than that it worked awesome.

if your getting a supercharger than skip pulleys. you'll end up taking off your crank pulley and the wp and alt pulleys don't really do much after the u/d crank pulley is off.

I say go for it. Its an easy intall and you can return it back to stock very easily too when you go the s/c route. You won't need a tune either.

Hey when i put pulleys on my car it made a big difference with my 1991 w/an AOD. Plus its sooo easy to put them on, the only trick is take the alternator out and take it to a shop that has an impact wrench to get that pulley off. Plus you dont even have to tune your car again afterwards its just a direct bolt on.

Do pulleys make enough of a difference to really feel?

interesting how much hp and tq realistically speaking? Also, does it affect your power if you run something like a big stereo system?
