Hey all,
I've scoured the net for stock info on a 1998 mustang gt. i cannot find a place with solid info, hope someone here can point me in the right direction, thanks.

curb weight
gear ratios

They got 10 more the 5.0 was only rated 215 stock.

The 5.0 was rated at 225 from '87- '92

I know 94-95 it was 215. I owned one and they are dogs in bone-stock trim.

I believe the gears are 2.73 if you have a five speed and 3.08 if it is an auto.

No they are 3.27s if you have a five speed and 3.08s if it is AOD..

Doesn't really matter cause everyone knows the 96-98 stangs WERE and ARE a fucking joke. I can say this proudly cause I got me a 98', and in stock trim, they are shitty. Wouldn't recommend gettin one to anyone looking for perfomance. Takes alot of work and $$$$$ to really wake em up. I got mine cause I love the sn95 look, but sometimes I wish it had a better built motor. The 2000 Camaro v6's come wit 200hp at the crank.

Its the damn head they suck!!! Is there any company making heads for them yet. From what I have heard that there is no one making heads for 96-98 that arent much better then the stock ones??? I know a lot of poeple talking about doing the 99 head set up but is there any other ways to go other then that?
