I was about to buy a 98 roush cobra convert. and someone told me that they pushed 400hp!!! is this true?

Ok a 98 cobra puts out around 265 rwhp. Now if you add the orusg stuff, pulies and cold air and exhaust.Well the exhaust is restrictive and it slows you down, but the pullies and cold air equal it out. So you have a mid 13 second cobra. If the car has an S/C, then 400 hp is no problem. Roucsh cobra's, I don't "think" were produced. Its probably a cobra w/ a body kit.

Roush offered a package with a Vortech kit for the 98 Cobra models. Roush did not complete the intallation of components(body, suspension, supercharger)on these cars, they just sold them to qualified dealers for installation. The 400HP figure is about correct with the Vortech.
