wHERE IS HE LOCATED AND HOW MUCH DO THEY CHARGE? dOES THE BLOCK NEED TO BE BARE OR IS IT OK TO HAVE THE SHORT BLOCK ASSEMBLED?

I would (personally) have the block filled before any machine work.This is a VERY argueed issue and I dont want to cause one here but some say you can fill after assembly but I cant get myself to believe that........to each their own...

They fill in the passages with a 'cement'. Plus side: Block is more riged and stronger.
Minus side: Blocked passages = hot motor.
Its usually done to drag-only motors that are not driven on the street.
