Whatever you call it. Will this help with water-burnouts, or is this only to keep the car from rolling through the lights?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I personally don't mind the brake-stand technique, but a line-lock is great for places like the old Sears Point track that wasn't perfectly level. My car (everybody's, really) rolled backwards in the left lane and would turn the tree off. It's hard enough with a foot on the clutch and one on the gas to worry about pulling the ebrake to keep your car in place (not that my ebrake was even hooked up, mind you!).my $0.02, do it. You will get very consistent burnouts, and very consistent launches. But for a car that doesn't see the track all that often, maybe it's not necessary.

Well Joe. Contrary to the last statement, my ride will be at the track at least twice a month from now on. 2002 will see the removal of tons of weight, new rear-end, 6pt bars, lots of work period. The track is my overall goal. So I guess it will be beneficial. Thanks,
