Okay I posted before but here's a repost and update:
I bought a 1995 Mustang, 3.8 5-speed. I bought the car really cheap knowing that it had some problems, being that I've had experience with these cars previously (5.0 mainly) I thought that I'd be able to figure out the issue. Wrong.
So here's what's up, I got the car home and tried to start it. It would crank and crank but no start. I tried flooring the gas pedal and it started; it was running very rough, shaking so bad the shifter was flopping back and forth. I parked it and the next morning I had it running again and was listening for any odd engine noises (keep it mind it's still real rough).
I could smell fuel and I remembered reading awhile back that flooring the gas pedal and starting the car essentially turned off the injectors, so I assumed the car was running rich. I swapped out the fuel pressure regulator. At this point the car would crank but would no longer start.
As I was staring at the engine pondering what could be wrong I noticed that there was 4 white fuel injectors and 2 orange ones. I decided that was obviously wrong, so I pulled the plenum off and took off the fuel rail and replaced it with a fuel rail and 6 white injectors (15lbs) that I happen to have from a 96 Mustang. Put it back together, car cranks but no start.
I replaced the TPS, IAC, and Crank Sensor. Cranks, but no start.
Checked all the fuses and they were good, Replaced the cam sensor, cranks but don't start. I found a website that has different diagrams and talks about testing out the CCRM to see if it's faulty. The CCRM checked out good. So, here I am with this car and am at my wits end on what could possibly be going wrong with it!

Start with the basics; do you have ample fuel pressure..? How about Spark? Sounds to me that the fuel pump possibly took a dump...

I had a 4 cylinder that acted like this, and it turned out to have a blown headgasket and a cracked head. I would start with checking oil, checking the plugs, and doing a compression test.
