yes you should, most k-members require relocating the bar a bit so checkout what MM offers.

At least for road race applications I agree you need a front sway bar. There have been 4 or 5 different diameter bars used over the years which can be tried for fine tuning.
Generally it's not the K member that require relocating the sway bar it's how much the car has been lowered. Try the stock chassis location and with the car sitting on the suspension. You want the links that connect to the A arms to be as vertical as possible. With a lowered car, the links will be tilted towards the back of the car. MM sells a relocation bracket that moves the chassis mount forward to bring the links back to vertical. For a lot more adjustability and at a lot higher cost, Griggs has an adjustable front sway bar.
