About to pick up a 98 gt very with 03 gt motor want to swap the stock mid pipe for a smog legal h pipe . What sounds best and is affordable

no such thing as a smog legal h-pipe in cali except the stocker. Since they are so easy to swap a catless pipe can be run for 2 years between smog checks. I run a catless jba, $220 and it is stainless.

Oh I honestly didn't know that since I already have o/r xpipe on my other 98 I just want a different sound I'm going to look into that o/r jba

MRT is the only company that makes a catted H, as far as I know? and I've heard numerous people pass smog on them. but its no guarantee in California. depends on how anal your smog tech is
