driveshaft resurfacing?

who told you this?

while you're resurfacing your driveshaft make sure you replace your muffler bearings too.....

you sure you weren't told to resurface your flywheel or have your driveshaft rebalanced?

The only reason that it would need to be rebalanced is if you have a bad vibration/weight not there or it was damaged for any reason. Its not just something you would randomly do.

So people only do it when they have a bad vibration?

What is the re-balancing process?

You will need to take it to a driveline shop so they can balance it. Basically the spin it on a machine and add weights to balance it out.

When there is a vibration in the drivetrain its often times the ds. The process is also done when you have a new one made or one that need to be modified.

As far as the pricess 92stang explained it just like it is!
