My 1993 4-cyl had functional power door locks when I bought it, but during the process of removing a shit load of unused wires from underneath the dash (old stereo wires, alarm wires, etc!), I think I may have cut one the wire that controls the power door locks. Does anyone know which wire (what color) provides power to the power door locks?

if you removed an alarm that's your problem, the alarm splits the door lock / unlock circuit with relays so it needs to be reconnected. It was probably in the drivers kick panel area, and is usually a pink/yellow and a pink/grey wire (lock + unlock) but every year mustang is a little different so your best bet would be to find an alarm wire guide for your year car and going by that.

Don't know if my wire colors are different since mine is a '86 but they're pink. I think the only damn pink wires throughout the whole damn car.

So you mean I need to reconnect the alarm wires? Or just reconnect the pink/yellow and pink/grey wires? I did see that there were relays and other random things under there, which is why I wanted to cut it all out lol ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

either way will work, wire it up again with the relays, or just put the factory wires back together...

Well the wires that I cut out are long gone so I have to look for the wires to reconnect. Thanks for the help!
