ok pretty simple run down on parts
stock block with 1/2 inch steel girdle
eagle 4340 crank and rods
je pistons
total seal rings
melling high volume high pressure pump
solid roller cam
brodix heads
jessle rocker set up
victor intake
breathers no pcv at this time(will add pcv when closer to racing and tunning time
clevite h bearings
machine work by metcalfs
assembled by radical rods
THE PROBLEM IS COLD IDLE 60PSI HOT IDLE 30PSI
REV UP TO 3000 RPM ONLY 50 PSI AND NO HIGHER WITH MORE RPM
MOTOR SHOULD GO TO 7500 RPM EASY
IS THE OIL PRESSURE TO LOW OR NOT SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT I HAVE HAD THIS COMBO REBUILT 4 TIMES AND ALWAYS THE SAME PROBLEM I HAVE REPLACED EVERY PART EXCEPT THE BLOCK AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER ALL THATS LEFT IN MY OPINION IS THE BLOCK BUT SOMETIMES OUTSIDE EYES CAN HELP

I have seen cars with strokers making 10psi at a warm idle and they don't have any problems. It sounds like you have perfectly fine pressure to me. My stang gets 22psi at a warm idle and even lower when I race it.....

We normally see 60psi peak with a STD oil pump & standard clearances.

HV oil pump may be draining the oil pan is it's not got more volume. Typically HV oil pump = loser bearing clearances, which would mean less oil pressure.

It's probably the oil pump bypass not letting it go over 50psi.

I believe the formula is 10PSI for every 1K rpm....but that is so very debatable.

Have you tried a titan pump or playing with the bypass?

What cam bearings are you using and have they been replaced with each rebuild? Solid rollers are very hard on cam bearings...

Overall, sounds like the rotating assembly has excessive clearances. Crank was probably cut on the low side, rod radiuses are at the max, and the tolerances are at max.

If you're pulling a solid 30 psi/hot at idle, it's got plenty.
