Topic: how can you tell what cam i have?

is there a serial number or something? it's been brought to my attention that the cam i have might not be a E303. how can i know for sure?

Are there numbers stamped on the end of the cam? If so then post em....

It would clearly state E303 on the cam if indeed that is what you have.
Otherwise as said,post the grind number and or part number that is on the cam.
