Topic: Lots of pressure in the radiator

Ive got a 6 banger 71 stang and there is an enourmous amount of pressure in the radiator. With the cap off and the car warmed up, the coolant shoots out of the radiator. I already changed the head gasket (which was not blown) and the problem persista. Do you think it could be a stuck thermostat. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

did you take the head to a machine shop to make sure its not warped, or cracked, or did you just pull it off and replace the gasket, then just slap it back together??? ![[Confused]](confused.gif) ![[Cool]](cool.gif)

Check for blockages in the coolant passesges and in the hoses....I had the same problem with my XR4, it turned out to be a clogged heater pipe...

There is no coolant in the oil, and I did not have the head cheacked because the car is not worth the money, its a pos. How could I chack to see if the radiator is clogged, and yes the fan is on correctly
