I just installed the upr kit with the member, a arms, coil overs and caster camber plates. Install took me one saturday. I had to modify the motor mount slot on the passenger side for the dowel on the mount, to make my mount flush with the member. Also it moved my steering rack really close to the member. But overall it feels pretty damn solid, and took at least 60 lbs if not more off the weight of my car (the chromoly member only weighs 18 lbs, but the strength is no joke) . The whole kit with new hardware and cc plates was 960 bucks shipped to my shop.

Ps the thing that will make it ideal for street and track use is the spring rate. I went for the same setup and upr recommended 14 inch 175lb springs. So far I'm happy with the recommendation

No its a slip joint so the shaft just pushed up. it brought my steering wheel maybe an inch and a half closer to me

only reason i ask because team z and upr are about the same in price, they both drop steering rack 3/4 from what i read, they suggest pulling out the shaft from column out 3/4 to make up the difference, any how team z says off road use and upr says offroad, track and daily..i also plan on keeping my Power Steering so thanks for the help
