I will be looking into installing my vortech in a while, and I was wondering where you guys would reccomend I get it installed. Apex is the first place that comes to mind, but they quoted me about $1000 for the install and I was wondering if that seems fair and if I have other choices. I could always do it myself or with others help, but I might just be willing to pay the money if I"d be in a lot better shape.
Anybody on the board install vortechs? Let me know

What was included in that price of $1000? When is the blower going to be dropped off? Is it just the blower> or aftercooler as well?

Well, since I plan on keeping the boost at 8 lbs, I think I am going to stick with just the blower and wait on the aftercooler. The $1000 was made up of: $900 for installation, plus ~$100 for plugs, antifreeze, oil/filter, etc
The blower will be here next week, but I"m not going to be putting it on right away. I will try and schedule a tune date in a couple months from now, and have it installed within a week or two from my tune date.
