Why do the heads need to be reserfaced, was there an overheat condition? Location? Can I get pics of the teksid block and heads 559-307-8227

Reason for resurface is heads were on my old block and piston slapped head no bent vales but needs resurface machine shop quoted me $150 and will bump compression up
