So when you say its not lining up, the block is warped right? So theoretically the machine shop can "unwarp" it?

u try a stock pan? ive numerous after market pans not line up.

The block has been repaired but they cut too much off the block pan rails so after assembling the motor the pan, timing cover and rear main seal didn't line up correctly.
