Looking to purchase set of 1985 - 1988 Saleen scripted floor mats for my 1988 Mustang. Prefer Charcoal or light Gray color.

Keep in mind the 88 has the early "Saleen" script and not the more familiar later years "SALEEN" script.

Thank you. The 88 Floor Mats use the 1985 - 1988 Saleen script. The 1989 - 1993 use the SALEEN script. I believe the link that Venomousnotch shows is for the 1989 - 1993 script floor mats.

I am finding that out. I have been looking for a set of these for some time now. I am hoping that since Saleen sold many cars in California, someone might have a set sitting around or know of someone who has a set they are willing to sell. This is all I need to complete my car and it would be nice to have them. I do not mind purchasing a used set either.

That's the problem with the early Saleens... low volume years with unique scripting on various parts. I prefer the later scripting but mixing and matching is a no-no in some circles. Wish mine was an 89.

I agree, low volume makes some parts impossible to find. Good thing I am not looking for a NOS 1985 Saleen front air dam....

I thought about putting 89-93 floor mats in the car, but I think at a Saleen event everyone would gladly point them out...

I had a easier time finding NOS spark plug wires for my 1970 twisterspecial 428SCJ

Saleen used different vendors for the Fox-body Saleen floor mats. Some of those vendors probably no longer exist. You'd be lucky to find an original set now. I have a contact from one of my Facebook Fox-body Saleen forums that is currently reproducing Fox-body Saleen floor mats. They may not be exact but they look pretty good and you could get them in a variety of color combos and he does both the early and later scripts. Here's a small example:
