What up NorCal Fords I got a CLEAN TITLE 2002 Gunmetal Grey Mustang V6 5-speed manual ALL STOCK with 98k miles for sale. I'll be very straight foreword because I need to sell this car soon.
The goods:
-grey/black interior is 10/10
-has a newish clutch and flywheel (stock replacement)
-mechanically perfect (besides motor which we'll discuss in a sec), good shocks/struts, brakes, A/C, heater, door locks, windows, radio..etc..all work flawless.
-looks cool, definitely nothing special but a fun car to drive around, turns a few heads here and there lol
-it's tinted 15% in the back. Wheels and gas cap are painted really well in Plasti-Dip. (A spray paint that after a few coats either lasts as long as you want or you can peel it off to the stock appearance, very easy.)
-paint is very clean and has been well taken care of. (Another thing we'll discuss)
-overall a great car and I loved this thing a ton. Always babied, used premium gas only, washed weekly, regular maintenance always on time.
-5 speed transmission is good, smooth shifts no grinding or pops
-good gas mileage
The BADS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
-the motor. Ever since it overheated one time a few years ago while my sister used my car the car has ever-so-slowly developed a small crack in the block and now 3 years later it is beginning to show. It came close twice to overheating but I caught the gauge just in time. For the past 3 or so months I've had to been doing regular coolant flushes because the coolant will begin to mix with the oil and soften the hoses so much to we're they'll burst. Hasn't happened yet but I've replaced the hoses a few times cause they felt corroded. And that's the story.
-POINT BEING, this car will need more work and time than I have to put in and if the right owner finds this and throws in a new V6 or even a 4.6L V8, you got a pretty sweet ride. It does drive, it would have no problem getting you home.
-Paint/body. The car had flawless paint until about a month ago some person barely swiped the drivers side rear quarter panel and scraped some paint off while I was at work. Not really noticeable maybe it's just me though.
-tires. Back two tires are good, even the front left, but the front right tire has a slight off-alignment and is pretty warn out.
-that's about it. Motor, paint, tires.
I don't know how to post pics here but please visit my Craigslist Ad and look at the pictures.
