Haha!!! Great answer & right on the money. I'm no expert, but I assume this tensioner is for the blower kit.

Ain't nobody going to purchase a discontinued blower for over 1k. & most importantly I believe I was asking OP not you bc I only need the tensioner.

Well, I won't sell the blower for below $1k, because it's worth what I'm asking IMO (especially with the extra parts included) & definitely won't make it harder to sell by parting the kit out. Discontinued or not, it's still a great blower kit. I would run it on my car if I had an aftermarket block, but since I don't wanna grenade a freshly built forged 331, I figured it's better to sell it rather than let it collect dust in my garage.

Last time I checked, I saw brand new Novi 1000 kits for sale online? Maybe they were leftovers, I dunno? But it's not like it's an old SN92 kit (or whatever it was called)

Just part it since this guy says it ain't worth 1k, I'll buy the radiator hose and air filter.

I don't know why people need to hate on other members adds. This is my old blower kit and my car trapped 125mph with a stock block and HCI with this! Discontinued or not the blower can still be rebuilt and parts are still available for this kit so it really makes no difference. I took off a vortech S-trim kit to put this on and was very impressed. The bracket setup is stronger and it comes with 8 rib over the 6rib vortech crap! I did nothing but throw belts with the vortech! NOVI FTW!!

Oh and Dustin, add a main girdle and throw this kit on your car. The block will be fine and you will put down around 500rw. That is about the limit on a stock block but it would be fine with a main support kit!

Oh and for those asking to part the kit! Go to superchargersonline.com and buy the parts new. Those parts are cheap!

Main girdle will not stop your block from cracking. Just do a n/a car and be happy. Not like anyone really needs over 600rwhp for a street car anyway lol! glws

+1 Main girdle wont dont shit for block strength. Caps walking from RPM yes, i would run one on a N/A motor. But you need higher grade iron and thickness.

I'm seriously surprised that nobody is hopping on this? $1100 is what I paid for it & I never even installed it on my car. It has some extras & is even an 8 rib belt setup.. Go ahead & price what a new Paxton costs from Summit for a complete kit, it's over $2400, & that doesn't even come with everything my kit has for a fraction of the price....

Throw it on corral. You will probably sell it there faster.

Do you know how many miles does the blower have?

Posted by *EPIK* (Member # 7481) on :

Not sure of the mileage, but the shaft is nice & tight, no play, & it worked great on the car it was pulled off of.

Posted by *EPIK* (Member # 7481) on :

Last try! I would rather let it collect dust than give it away for anything less.
