I have my 88 chp with hci, bbk longtubes, x pipe, mar 6al box, coil. I was told it was a 306 but I haven't opened it up to see. Needs a couple of things like a mass air meter for 24lb injectors. And one of the roller rockets needs adjusting. They are 1.6 rr. Newer tires all the way around. Clean title. Call me @510-461-6593. Kerry. I can send pics.
