Looked at one today asking the "clean" car price of $6000...

Bought in June
88 Speed Density - Not a CA car
Resprayed, poorly
Heater core disconnected
Drivers door lock switch is backwards electrically
Major rust below the proportioning valve and along the rear drivers body rail
Worn out interior
Hole in left fender
Fuel gauge not working
I stopped looking/caring at that point. I'm looking for a long term keeper, so the rust killed it, but that's a $4000 car. I am looking for something nice.

Crashed? No, salvaged no accident
Heater core work? Yes

Heater core is bypassed, front drivers side engine bay is mangled. Great times.
