The problem is that the person is going to be about 2 grand into the car before they even start working on it. $1300 sale price, $550 in fees, $100 or so for gas and a trailer, or a tow truck etc. Then you have to complete the swap, get it BARed if you want to be legit, another easy grand or two depending on how far you go. A running driving 5.0 notch for $3500 is a good price, but it would still be an original 4cyl car and its an automatic. Just my opinion. [patriot]

yeah you prob right. i guess im better off keeping it since i put alot of effort in it. i have some ppl to help me out now so ill jus slowly try an put in together.

Just fyi... It does not have to go to bar to be legit. If you put all factory v8 setup in it (correct foxbody stuff) it is legal because the car originally was availible with that motor. No bar is required. I will almost guarantee i have done more 4cyl to v8 swaps than most anyone on here, all have passed smog legally. On the flipside if someone does a hack job swap and tries to use wrong year range parts if will probably end up with you at the ref....lol

i put a 91 5.0 in a 93 4 cylinder someone told me yesterday that i need a 93 5.0 main harnest. i thought everything from 91-93 will work.
