BRAND NEW.

I just had this built for my '67 FB and plans have changed. Car and motor are for sale, this ad is just for the engine (see my other posts for more info on the car)

SHORT BLOCK AND HEADS ONLY, ZERO ACCESSORIES

-Built to produce 630hp naturally aspirated
-Can handle boost or other to 800+ horsepower
-Race prepped and seasoned Windsor block
-Sonic tested block and good for .080+ overbore
-We decided on .060 overbore for more cubes
-Balanced and blueprinted
-Fully Forged Bottom-end
-Studded mains
-Main girdle
-H Beam rods
-Ross pistons
-Molly file-fit rings
-Race bearings
-All ARP hardware
-Hydraulic roller camshaft
-Double-roller timing chain
-F.P.S./Avenger CNC ported 225cc heads
-2.08 Intake valves
-Heads are not bolted on
-ARP head studs and head gaskets included
-I will gladly install heads if buyer prefers

Probably still under warranty but not sure. Troy at F.P.S builds the best, and he stands behind his work. Never had problem 1 with their motors.

Over 5k invested, Selling for $4,000.

You can email me at bwkelley76@yahoo.com or send me a PM. I will also be checking for replies here.

Thanks in advance.

<<<Ford production 1980's/Early 90's 351W block, one piece rear main seal. It was built late last Summer. Pistons are supposed to be the "badass" ones, I believe it is the lower #, better aluminum and design, 18-32 is the number on the invoice but I don't know if that means anything. Compression with these heads is between 10.5 and 11:1. I can call Troy and verify if you're serious about buying the motor.

Troy is the man! One of the best in the business.......just talked to him 2 days ago actually! Good luck on the sale!

Thanks and YES HE IS! I haven't had the heart to call him and ask if I could send it back for a refund. I might have to though if I don't sell it. Just a hassle to ship it back to him, etc. Need the cash ASAP.

Not exactly true. There are plenty of people on here that have deep pockets and understand a nice set-up, they just aren't the ones posting 30 times a day. This is a good deal @ about 25% of "retail" price but the only person who's gonna buy is someone already looking for something along these lines.

ttt for a clean set-up

Nope. The car isn't setup to handle that kind of power. It would need significant chassis reinforcement and suspension upgrades. Additionally, it will cost a good bit more to complete the Windsor. IMO, the car will be much better off with a Ford Racing 306 in it.

Man, who would have ever thought 600+ horsepower and 650 lb/ft of torque could be such a burden?! ...It's true though, not worth putting it in unless the car is set up for it.

Not a burden. A preference. I'm already building a monster with my '65 and I want this car to be much more streetable... a cruiser with decent horsepower.
