Up for sale is my 1993 Cobra. Its a work in progress, and needs a little TLC to get it back in good running order. First off, this is not a perfect car, it does run and drive, and has many new parts, but not complete. The car started out as opal gray interior, but then someone attempted to convert to black, and failed miserably. I started to convert it the right way. Brand new carpet, brand new aftermarket door panels, perfect headliner, nice seats, dash and center console. What it does need, is seatbelts, rear lower cushion, and misc trim. Rebuilt stock t5z tranny. Bone stock motor. Powdercoated upper intake and valve covers. I have the upper intake off as of now. I believe there was a vacuum leak. It will be back on by the time someone buys it. New abc exlusive 3" cowl, new gay ugly headlights. I have the grill and fogs, just not yet installed. 3.55 gears, aftermarket lower control arms, eiback pro kit springs. The temp selector is broken, ac needs charging, needs new light switch, some bulbs burnt out in cluster.

I realize that this is a 1993 cobra, and by no means is anything extraordinary, just a foxbody with a kit. This was a project me and my father went in on, and fell short of completion. He is expecting some outrageous amount of money, I feel its worth a lot less.

Feel free to offer 2500, low ball, talk shit w/e you please. Im not hurting for money, or really care if I sell it.

I am accepting reasonable offers.

6500 is my starting price. The old man wants more, thats what we settled on.

T-5Z had to be bought aftermarket. no production cars came with the T-5Z

"In 1993 Ford installed a new WC T-5 in the limited Cobras later nicknamed "Cobra Spec" T-5. It was the first T-5 with a front tapered bearing and aluminum/steel front bearing retainer. The Cobra boxes also received a reverse gear brake and synchro assembly where there was none before. Just about everything else remained the same. Torque rating was increased to 310ft/lbs."

"The "Z" Spec T-5

In 1993 Ford started offering a new service unit to the Ford Motorsport crowd. The nick name T-5z comes from Ford’s part number, 7003Z. This Ford Motorsport T-5 is also sometimes referred to as "World Class T-5". While it is a Word Class T-5, as it has all the upgrades, having a 2.95 first and “Cobra pocket bearing does not make it “World Class”. The T-5z is a 1993 Cobra T-5 with 2.95 first gear set and .63 over drive. It has the best of everything. Hardened gears, short throw factory shifter, steel front bearing retainer, and tapered output shaft bearing and a seven tooth drive speedometer gear. Best of all it has a torque rating of 330ft/lbs. based on 100,000 mile usage. The stock T-5Z can handle up to 450hp with a soft locking clutch and is not shock loaded like in drag racing."

Ok. So WC T5.

Anywhoo. Once I put the upper back on it, its 100% driving order. Mainly this car suffers from cosmetic issues. It could use an alignment as well. As far as smog and registration, the registration will be paid here shortly it's about a year back. The smog is needed, but has stock H installed, and all factory parts, so no need to worry about failing. New o2s were installed recently.

I'm surprised, worst offer I got so far was 6k.

Someone needs to find 500 bucks in the couch fast. This is the cheapest clean title cobra i've seen in quite awhile.
