I want to trade my 8.8 fox rearend for a stock width built rearend


What I have:
8.8 from a 89 coupe
3.73 ford gears
31 spline eaton posi
31 spline NON C CLIP dutchman hd axles with 1/2 long studs
narrowed 2.5" per side, 5" total
9" ends
tubes are welded


the rear end is under a 350hp coupe with a wolfe mini tub, 325 drag radials, lower control arm brackets are in the stock location, etc


What I want:

stock width built 8.8
c clips are fine
good posi, 31 spline, etc

Im keeping the brakes, as they are dual bolt pattern

Vega is going, my house and shop have been taking all my time this last year, almost done though.

Looking for 31 spline stuff, new setup will have a blower on it eventually plus bigg radials, might need the strength [Razz]

on the vega yes

this mustang is a streetcar

the vega has 40 spline gun drilled axles in a chrome moly sheetmetal housing [Big Grin]

Any chance of out right sale? So its 5" shorter than a fox width rearend?

Oh I kno I remember seeing that beast of a rear end for the vega when my father in law bought the old rear end out of it for the camaro.
