Oh also have the fuel tank with a 255 already in it. 100 firm wild stangs with the pump don't sell your next for it unless you want the whole tank?

The 84 SVO has 2 fuel pumps, a low pressure intank pump and a high pressure inline pump that is located underneathe the car by the passenger side rear frame rail. You can make a 255lph pump fit into an SVO but you also have to make other modifications. I've done this mod so it is possible.
What you'll need is not only the pump but you will also need the pump bracket from a 87+ 5.0. The bracket is what the pump bolts into, then the entire pump and bracket assembly goes into the fuel tank, no modifications needed to the tank or anything.
Then you will need to completely chop off the ground wire to the intank fuel pump located inside the trunk, and install a brand new ground wire from the chassis somewhere because the old ground wire has resistance built into it to limit the pump voltage to less than 12volts. You will no longer need that anymore.
Then you will need to completely remove your inline high pressure fuel pump and fuel filter assembly and replace it all with a single Ford Ranger longer style fuel filter to take the place of the pump and old stock filter since you will no longer need the inline pump anymore with this high pressure intank pump.
Do a search for this mod or you can PM me if you need more info.
